Based on a bestselling novel by Jana Bernášková, the film follows the story of Lucie, an actress and single mother. Her life is full of bittersweet moments, which Lucie approaches with humor of her own. Rejection at acting castings, disappointment in relationships and ordinary struggles with her young daughter keep getting in Lucie´s way. She is constantly battling not only with life's obstacles, but mainly with herself and her inner voice named Shady. The film deals with love, struggle and hope, with its peculiar humor and by situations written by life itself.
