Unsuccessful writer Karel Bukovský (Norbert Lichý) struggles to finish a collection of his novels, that would be published at last. His whole life, he has been living in a shade of the famous Charles Bukowsky. Not only they have the same name, but the same writing style as well. One day Karel meets mysterious Robert (Jan Dolanský), who confides his unbelievable story to Karel who decides to write it into a novel. No one will steal his fame from him...
