Every little Czech village has a fire station, just like in village Horní. Association of Voluntary Firemen is led by quirky Petr (Petr Rychlý). He´s a fair chap and he´s quite popular with village, but the opportunist mayor Vladimír Urban (Václav Kopta). Mayor tries to steal money from townhall budget through the fire station and Petr´s honesty stands in his way. With all his effort, mayor does his best to get rid of firemen´s chief.
